Instructions and Help about best free PDF app for ipad

Hello everyone this is Anson from Anson Alex calm and in this video I'm going to show you how you can scan documents to PDF format using your iPhone or iPad now the app that I use as you can see in the middle of my phone here is called doc scan Pro I don't work for Docs cam Pro I'm not compensated by them this is the actual app that I use for all of my scanning now there is a cost associated with purchasing this app there is a free version that I think will allow you to do a few scans but the doc scan Pro app is $1.99 for the iPhone and I think it's more expensive for the iPad I think it might be $4.99 to 399 so if you're debating between doing it for the on the iPad or iPhone it is a little bit cheaper on the iPhone now once you have this app purchased and you click to open it up you'll notice that it already is prompting you to go ahead and take a picture so I have a document here of some of my rates when I do training so I'm going to go ahead I'm going to take a picture this document now when you take the picture you want to take it directly above the document so if I were to do it with my iPad here I would come directly above the document just like this just so I have the entire picture completely in the entire document completely in the picture and then I can go ahead and snap the picture now I'm going to quickly do that with my iPhone so you can all see what it looks like once we take a picture so bear with me here for a second okay so I have taken the picture with my iPhone and I'm going to focus a little bit here so you'll notice when I take that picture it actually automatically detects the edges and corners of that document for me so you want to try and have your background be as a contrast of a color as dark of a color if you're shooting white paper as you can so that there's a big difference so that the program can easily detect the differences so if one of these you can see it did a pretty good job here but if one of these corners was off I could just click and I could move that corner with my thumb to make sure that it is in the right place once I'm ready down here at the bottom I'm just going to go ahead and hit the next button now it asks me if I want this document in color black and white and I can go ahead and I can adjust the brightness of this document on the side here so generally speaking we want to be able to see all.
